Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Elounda, la situation de l'hôtel est incroyable, proche des commerces et loin de l'agitation du centre ville! L'appartement que nous avions était grand, propre et fonctionnel avec 2 terrasses! C'est un très bel endroit!

Driving from Heraklion: (90km, 1h00 approx.)



Take the Heraklion-Agios Nikolaos National Road and before entering the city of Ag. Nikolaos at the cross road, turn to the left towards Elounda. 500m after the hotel Elounda Bay Palace, turn to the right (U-turn) towards Akti Olous and continue straight ahead for about 1 km.



The Elounda Island Villas are located on your right hand site and it is the only building on the island of Spinalonga.

To see / To do

Walk around and explore marked trails, accompanied by the owners, qualified guides or on your own, starting from your place of stay or within 10 km.
If you like crowds, you can visit the village of Elounda, 1 km farther, where you will find bars, taverns, mini-markets and all the necessities. There are daily trips by boat to the island of Spinalonga. The picturesque port of Agios Nikolaos is a 10 minutes drive away.
 
From the accommodation you can take many walks and discover Byzantine churches, old windmills and a small wetland nature reserve for migratory birds.
 
Rent a motor boat and sale around the Island and the bay (license not needed). An instructor picks you up from the beach in front of the houses, shows you how to drive the boat and provides us with useful tips of where to swim.
 
There are also organized many hiking trails and a professional driver can escort you: Ancient Olous & Spinalonga, getting acquainted with nature and the Cretan herbs, hiking to the top of Mount Oxa, the Aforesmenou cape, etc.
 
The journey takes half or a full day, lunch and picnics can be offered upon your request and at an additional charge.
At this property you can book yoga and massage by professionals by appointment.
 
200 meters away you can swim among the submerged ruins of the Minoan town named "Olous" and enjoy the beautiful beaches and turquoise waters, the nearest being 20 meters from the accommodation.
The Kolokitha beach, the most famous of the region, located 1,200 meters away and accessible on foot, by car or by boat.
 
The area features many bays and inlets that will satisfy lovers of diving.
 
Visit the inland villages surrounded by vineyards and ancient sites, away from mass tourism, the Lassithi plateau, and the fortress of Spinalonga, a former leper exile space.
