From Thessaloniki : 200 km, 2 hours approx.

From the city center or the airport of Thessaloniki, follow the Egnatia Odos Highway towards Kavala, then towards Xanthi. Exit at “Xanthi West” and follow the Old National Road towards Kavala for a distance of 5 km.
At the sign of Toxotes-RR Station, turn to the right and park your car.

Heleni, the owner, will be waiting for you at this point to lead you at the guest house located 500 m from there.

From Alexandroupolis: 114 km, 1 hour approx.

From the city center or the airport of Alexandroupoli, follow the Egnatia Odos Highway towards Komotini and Xanthi.
Exit at “Xanthi West” and follow the Old National Road towards Kavala for a distance of 5 km. At the sign of Toxotes-RR Station, turn to the right and park your car.

Heleni, the owner, will be waiting for you at this point to lead you at the guest house located 500 m from there.

Do not miss the lovely journey with the little train (available all Sundays) that starts from the Toxotes village and its last stop is in Stavroupoli.
The lovely trekking trail along the Nestos river that starts 2 km away from the guest house should not be missed. It is a superb and easy trail of 7 km (simple transport).
At the Toxotes village, River Land, an alternative tourism company, offers organized trekking experiences and the village is the starting point and some other activities, such as mountain riding or canoe kayak.
The enchanting beaches of Maggana and Erasmio are just 30 km away.
