PATHS OF GREECE, organizing and promoting hiking trails networks
The team of Paths of Greece has been working for four years for the emergence and development of Greek paths. Assumes the full organization of a network of trails, begining from the cleaning and the signaling, to highlighting and attracting tourists. It has organized hiking route networks in many places, including Kythira, Patmos, Sifnos, Serifos, Kefalonia, Drama and Hymettus.
Furthermore, the paths that have been marked by the Paths of Greece are available for downloading to mobile phones or GPS, using wikiloc application.
GREEN KEY, quality label (eco-label) for tourism
Green Key is an ecological quality label for tourist units. Hotel units must fulfill certain requirements of ecological hue. In return, they acquire the right to use the green key label (eco-label) for marketing their business. Using the Green Key label requires the observance of a specified ecological requirements and criteria of the program.
The international coordinator and manager of the Green Key is the FEE and national coordinator of the program for Greece is The Hellenic Society of Natures Protection.
