We have passed nice moments in the accomodations. In particoular, we were welcome in a very hospitable way in both apartments we stayed. The owner were careful and helpful to our requests

Dimitra and Vangelis' guesthouse is a very lovely place to stay. We were treated to their wonderful hospitality, including a delicious meal at their house with Voula, a close friend of Dimitra. Dimitra and Vangelis looked after us very well - is was lovely to be treated so specially. We really appreciate the care and creativity they have put into their property, and as archaeologists were very interested to discover that the house is built over the classical site of Locris! We have become friends and hope to go back as soon as we can to Galaxidi and rent the upper apartment at Maistros.

Galaxidi is a charming stop which you have to visit. Stroll through the picturesque streets and see the old houses, witnesses of the rich local history. Most of them are renovated with taste and respect of the traditional architecture of the village.
Wander the streets with geraniums and jasmine, and of course the beautiful waterfront with restaurants, cafes and a marina with yachts.
Worth a visit is the Nautical Museum where you will find models of traditional sailing ships, old maps and navigation instruments.
The churches of Agios Nikolaos and Agia Paraskevi can be visited.
The first one is known for its wood carved temple and the mosaics, and the second for its sunflower engraved on the floor with the zodiac signs.
Visit the Monastery of Sotiros and enjoy the wonderful panoramic view.
There are beautiful beaches near the port of the village and many small pebble coves close by
