Numerous hiking trails through beautiful villages between sea and mountains. Roads lead to ancient ruins, forts and many churches and monasteries.

Kalymnos is a favorite island of diving fans, very famous for its seabed rich in caves, shipwrecks and clarity of its waters up to 35 meters. Several dive centers exist on the island.

Accommodation is located 250 meters from the main square and 300 meters from the beach of the village Myrties (long pebble beach). The village is bustling with taverns and small shops.

The unavoidable spot is Telendos Island, located 700m away facing the village and reachable in 8' by boat from Myrties (every 10').
Make tour at any time of day, enjoy nice walks in the picturesque pedestrian-only streets and taste delicious fish in the taverns.

The island of Kalymnos is home to many beaches of fine sand and pebbles.
Several excursions can be done by boat to the calm beaches of Telendos, Nera, Plati and Pserimo.

The most beautiful beaches on the island are those of Melitsala (1 km), Massouri and Armeos (9km), they are also the busiest ones.
There are beaches for all tastes; for youths (Kantouni, Linaria, Platys Gialos); quiet and picturesque (Arginonta and Emporios), trendy and crowded (Vlychadia).

Kalymnos is known since antiquity for its sponges and divers.
Visit the nautical museum showing the wealth of the sponge trading families which you will surely find interesting.
You can also visit some workshops and see the processing of sponges.
