Access Information

By plane from Athens: From the airport El. Venizelos daily flights to Ioannina and Preveza (Aktion), 45 minutes flight. By car from Athens: National road Athens-Corinth-Patras-Bridge of Rio - Agrinio-Amfilochia-Arta (400 km, 5 hours approx). From Arta, follow the ring road that leads to the famous "bridge." At the second traffic light after the "bridge", turn right and again right at 1000m towards Gramenitsa and in continuation Elato Korfovouniou - Pitsiana - Rodavgi (22 km, 30 minutes approx) By car from Igoumenitsa: Egnatia Highway Igoumenitsa-Ioannina (100 km, 1 hour approx). By car from Ioannina: Follow the direction for Arta and Athens. At the first exit after the village of Aygo, turn left towards Sklivani - Pesta and continue towards Filipiada. Before arriving at Filipiada, follow the signs for Gorgomylo - Gymnotopo and after Ammotopos turn right for Rodavgi (75 km, 1 hour approx). Upon arrival in Rodavgi, follow the sign for the central square of the village where the guesthouse Nisista is situated.

Many hiking trails and beautiful walks can be done in the village Rodavgi renowned for its natural beauty and local flavor liquor (tsipouro). The village is ideally situated for exploring the mountains of Tzoumerka and its surroundings. Do not miss two local events, the festival of Ag. Paraskevi on 27/07 and the celebration of tsipouro and chestnut on the 2nd Sunday of October. You can take excursions to nearby traditional and authentic villages with intact nature. Do not miss a ride on the river Arachthos where you can get involved with activities such as canoeing – kayaking throughout the year. Hiking trails for all levels. Horse riding at the equestrian center of the region located at 6 km from the accommodation. Canoe, Kayak, paragliding and mountain biking in the activity center of Rodavgi. The beautiful beaches Koronisia and Menidi are at 40 kilometers (45 minutes trip). Preveza with its beautiful beaches is located at 70 km. Do not forget to visit the historical city of Ioannina, at 75 km (1 hour drive), and take a walk around the lake and the ancient site of Dodoni nearby.
