Description

On the north easterly side of the island, just 25 minutes from the town of Chios, you can find the historical village of Kardamila. Dimitris and Kiki had always had a dream to revive the old medieval neighborhood, the abandoned “Spilia”.

They restored four small, traditional houses, paying respect to the traditions and using good taste for creating a unique environment for those who seek peace, quite and rest.

A journey through the times begins while climbing the pathway from the central town square. Most houses are built with wood and stone. In the highest point of the settlement one can see that all the restored buildings have followed the local architecture.

Each house has its own unique character, the decoration has been done with loving care and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Start your day with a filling breakfast made by Kiki, it includes local produce, home made marmalades, pies and fresh fruit.

Enjoy your coffee whilst gazing at the village, the beautiful fields and the infinite Aegean.

By air : Daily flights from Athens, Thessaloniki, Lesvos, Samos, Rhodes. Charter flights from several Europen cities during the summer. From the town of Chios, direction towards Kardamila. The lodging is located 300m from the centre of the village (25 kms, 45 minutes).
