Located between the port of Kimolos and "Chorio", the only village of this tiny volcanic island, The Windmill Hotel dates from 1852 and remains one of the few traditionally restored windmills in Greece today. Apomero (20 sq.m.) is located on the west side of the Windmill with its terrace offering commanding views of the nearby village. It features a spacious bedroom with a built-in double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.

Aloni (15 sq.m.) features a bedroom with a built-in double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. Its covered terrace with built-in benches provides the ultimate relaxing experience with wonderful sea views.
Agnantio (×1 )
Agnantio (19 sq.m.) is located on the second floor of the Windmill and features a bedroom with a queen- size bed as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower. Deriving from the greek verb "agnantevo", which means "gaze" in Greek, "Agnantio" with its charming balcony, perched at the top of the mill tower, provides some of the hotel’s best sea views.

Apagio (28 sq.m.) comprises a bedroom with a built-in double bed and a living room with two traditional sofas which can be turned into single beds. It has a modern bathroom with shower. While lying on the built-in sofas on the terrace you can also enjoy views of the port and the island of Poliegos – beautiful by day or night.

Strogilo (30 sq.m.) is our largest suite, arranged as a duplex on the ground and first floor of the Windmill. It offers a built-in double bed and one en-suite bathroom with shower on the ground floor, plus a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed on the upper floor. The two levels are connected by an internal stone staircase in an open plan space. For convenience, each room has its own entrance. The private large terrace on the first floor provides wonderful sea views.

Numerous walking routes are able to guide you to every corner of this virgin island, some of them across Skiadi, an imposing stone in the shape of a giant mushroom. If you’re not a fan of walking, you can always skim through the waves with a sea taxi that will tour you around the island so you can enjoy the captivating waterfronts and volcanic geology from within the waves. Should you wish it, you can also expand your exploration by visiting the neighboring islands of Polyaigos, Milos and Sifnos. Also, the outdoor summer cinema of Kimolos, "Kalisperitis", provides you with a variety of movies, free of charge!
Northwest of the island, at Skiadi, the imposing stone "mushroom", sculpted by the winds of the region is a rare geological phenomenon of great interest.
At the Chora of Kimolos, a pretty typical Cycladic village, you can visit the ruins of the medieval castle and the interesting archaeological museum.
You should not miss the windmills at the Xaplovouni village and the old stone bridge at Pano Klima.
The beautiful beaches are located mainly in the south side sheltered from the northerly winds. Among the golden sandy beaches are Aliki, Bonatsa, Kalamitsi and Prassa.
Worth to visit by boat the neighboring islands, Aghios Georgios and Polyaigos, opposite Psathi.
