Description

In a distance of 6km from Rethymnon and 1km from the picturesque village of Prines, the Vederi complex offers accommodation within an olive grove, in Cretan atmosphere and traditional colors. In the olive grove three mansions with a private swimming pool combine comfort and tradition in harmony. The owners will offer warm hospitality and will take care of their guests.

Each of the three luxurious residences, built according to tradition and Cretan architecture, surrounded by lush vegetation, has a paved yard full of flowers with garden furniture and a private swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas.
 
Upon your arrival, the table will have been set in your residence and the dinner will have been prepared by the nice owners in order to welcome you in the best possible way!
 
In your residence you will find all the essentials for the preparation of your first breakfast meals, olive oil from the farm as well as seasonal vegetables from the vegetable garden of the owners.
 
In the outdoor area of the complex there is a common area for the residents with a built traditional oven and barbeque, as well as a specially designed area with tables and chairs, in the shade of a pergola.

From Iraklion: Direction towards Rethymnon: (68 kms, approx. 1h 30 min.) After Rethymnon (do not enter in the city center) direction towards Atsipopoulo and Prines. From Chania : Direction towards Rethymnon: (60 kms, 1h drive.) Before Rethymnon follow the direction towards Atsipopoulo and Prines. The Vederi houses are located 1 km from the village of Prines and are indicated.

Walk around and explore marked trails, accompanied by the owners, qualified guides or on your own, starting from your place of stay or within 10 km.

Take a walk in the area of the old harbor and the stone paved paths of the old town of Rethymnon.
 
Visit the surrounding villages which have an intense graphic and authentic character. Swim in the crystal clear waters of the beaches of Gerani at a distance of 2 kms, of Episkopi approximately 10 kms from Rethymon and Plakia, 25 kms south, where the Gorge of Kotsifos ends.
 
Don’t miss the infinite view which you can enjoy from the Monastery of Preveli. In Argyroupoli, in this village with its lush greenery, with its springs and the waterfalls, you can make a refreshing stop.
 
Moreover, do not miss the opportunity to see Lake Kourna, the only natural lake on the island.
 
It is worthwhile to visit the famous Arkadi monastery and the Margarites village which has a traditional center of pottery.
 
There are many routes in the surrounding hills that are good for trekking.
