By sea: From Piraeus, 6 - 8 hours by boat. There are also connections from Thessaloniki, Kavala, Alexandroupoli, Lemnos, Lesvos, Samos, Kos and Rhodes. From the port of Chios, daily ferry to Cesme in Turkey, journey: 30 minutes. By air: Many charter flights from several European cities during the summer. Daily flights from Athens and Thessaloniki. From the port of Chios (36 km, 40 mins) or the airport (32 km, 35mins) drive to the South of the island, following the signs to Mesta. The guesthouse Lida Mary located in the center of village, next to the main square and about 50 meters from the public parking. Note that no cars are allowed in Mesta.
