Description

Located at a distance of 16 km from Zakynthos main town, at the calm rural village of Vassilikos, Giannoulisʼ family 4 houses are just 900 meters from the beach, at the heart of a 6 hectares farm full of vineyards, olive groves and other fruit-bearing trees. You will instantly feel the ownersʼ warm welcome as they have created a place with family atmosphere.

The houses are built amphitheatrically, with respect to the island’s traditional style, within a verdurous natural environment.There is a big garden with some of the season’s best fruits and vegetables for you to enjoy them anytime. If you wish so, you may even start collecting fruits from the farm’s trees.

In one of its many spots, the farm hosts some cute goats, chickens and rabbits. 

Giannoulis’ family is a producer of olive oil and of three varieties of wine, Syrah-Cabernet-Robola, and honey while their traditional tavern, at the entrance of the farm, is famous for the quality of its food, which is made from fresh ingredients coming from the garden and the farm’s own organic production-certification Qways Bio.

Access Information

By Road from Athens: National Road Athens-Corinthos-Patras-Pyrgos, exit towards the Port of Killini (280 kms, 3H30). By boat from Italy: Daily departures from the ports of Venice and Ancona to Patras with MINOAN LINES. From Patras follow the direction to Pyrgos, then continue towards the port of Killini. In Killini take the ferry boat to Zakynthos (1h30 min. trip). There are many connections daily. By Air from Athens : El. Venizelos airport, daily flights, 45 minutes. By Air, International flights: Direct charter flights from several European cities during the summer. From the port or the airport of Zakynthos, drive towards Vassilikos (16 kms). The Lithies traditional houses are located 500 meters after the Agios Nikolaos beach and right next το the Lithies Taverna, on the right hand side. There are signs which lead you to the farm.

You may take some nice walking tours in the farm and the surroundings.

Everyday you can collect fruits and vegetables from the garden’s farm. You can even buy the farm’s products as wine, olive oil, honey and cheese.

During September, we suggest you participate at the harvest-time to experience this unique event which takes place every year.

The wonderful beaches of Zakynthos are located at a distance of 1 km from the farm. One of the best is the famous beach of Gerakas, a shelter for the famous Caretta Caretta, sea turtles.

At a distance of 1 km, in Agios Nikolaos, there is a diving center appropriate for all levels. There you may enjoy all types of water sports.
