Description

At 30 km distance from Mytilene, in the village of Milies, the farm “Toumba” offers five cottages overlooking the large estate of olive, fruit trees and herbs. In this organic paradise, with panoramic views to the sea, you can experience horse riding and many outdoor activities while enjoying warm hospitality.

Built in 500 meters altitude, on a property of 3 hectares, the organic farm features five cottages that accommodates up to 4 persons each, with stunning views of the surrounding environment.
 
The farm hosts 4 magnificent horses of a nearly extinct breed of regional mountain horse, Mydilis. They are trained to be ridden by riders of all levels, for guided rides around local trails or nearby villages. 
 
The traditional cafe on the top of the farm, offers amazing views to the sea and the surrounding mountains. There you can enjoy your refreshment or even the delicious homemade dishes cooked with organic local products, vegetables, herbs and olive oil produced in the farm.
 
Breakfast is served there every morning.
 
Table d’hôtes and meals for vegetarians and vegans, upon request.
 
The owners will gladly inform you about the activities in the farm and excursions not to be missed on the island.

By sea: From Piraeus, 7 - 9 hours by boat. From Thessaloniki, 10 hours by boat.

By air: Daily flights from Athens El Venizelos Airport, 45 min. flight. From Thessaloniki, Macedonia Airport, 45 min. flight.

Charter flights from several European cities during the summer.



From the port or the airport of Mitilene (30 km, 40 mins approx.) Follow the direction towards Gera – Skopelo – Karyona and finally to Milies village. The last 5 km to the farm is rural road.The Ecofarm “Toumba” is located 8 km from the village of Plomari and there are signs that will lead you there.
